The Boy-child Is Still Lucky
Pretty women tend to marry wealthier men.
Pretty women tend to give birth to girls.
Wealthy parents will offer the best for their daughters in order for them to excel in the world.
These ‘successful’ daughters will tend to chase the few eligible men their ilk.
Counterparts their age-bracket are mostly struggling to find their identity, if not dead or in prison,or wasting away in monotonous, unrewarding toil.
Due to their debauchery, these wealthy men once broke the hearts of too many bedazzled as well as adventurous girls.
For the likes of Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem, Kanye West-not profiling the music industry here-one can't help but wonder how they raise their own daughters, going by their misogynist rants on records.
Notorious (players' president) B.I.G’s son recently announced that he’s gay.
I'm not in any way presuming that for those of us who have sons, we should go around holding hands, singing kumbaya as we await on the trumpet call to heaven.Neither am I saying that all our mothers are hard to look at.
But could it be life's way of getting back at them?I digress.
You hear of women being defiled or undressed by some seemingly uncultured goons as a way of deterring skimpy dressing in public.
Where did these boys grow up? Who raised them? Did they grow up around sisters? Female class-mates, play-mates,relatives?
Of course yes! The boy was taught to always protect the girl; fight for her.
But the girl-child was being pampered at the expense of the boy-child. Literally so.
As adults, the boy is now threatened by the highly empowered girl;she is confident and has control of her own life.
She might not necessarily be rich, but she certainly knows the kind of people who don’t quite qualify as male when it comes to dating.
It’s important to point out that crossing national borders to expand her pool of eligible men is a risky affair if what drives her is anything but love.
Women are the same the world over. And men have similar problems the world over.
So,settle down if you find love. Anything else and you'll find the boy-child still here waiting to fight for you-through legislation, demonstrations, war,KOT etc
Incredibly, the girl-child has risen in status over a short duration of time by her own merit, getting the best in terms of education as well as by affirmative action meant to reverse years of systematic sidelining.
Society has not known when to pause and look at the boy’s plight;how has he been fairing since?
In most industries, the girl has filled up almost all middle-level management level positions. She’s the top entrepreneur in the country as well as the continent.
Safe to predict that in the next few decades, she’ll be the C.E.O-Which will be God-sent!
She'll then be able to lead the affirmative action drive for the boy-child from the front, at least for her daughter’s sake.
